You will be able to select screening instruments to assess patients with pain for risk of opioid misuse and institute monitoring strategies based on this risk.
You will be able to specify nonpharmacologic interventions for pain treatment when opioids are not indicated and/or as complements to indicated opioid therapy.
You will be able to evaluate the efficacy and risk potential of current and emerging opioid analgesic agents for patients with chronic pain.
You will be able to design and implement a legal foundation for your pain practice.
